  • These statements are built from summary pages — account valuation, fund balances — followed by transaction and distribution detail tables.
  • ANZ's official 'how to read' guides include sample pages that follow the same section order as the real statements.
  • KiwiSaver statements add fund-level balances and contribution detail that deposit statements do not have.

How to download a PDF statement from ANZ

  1. Log in to ANZ Internet Banking at anz.com.au and select your account from the homepage.
  2. Click View statements on the left, and select the account from the dropdown list.
  3. Click Download — the statement opens in a new browser window, where you can save or print it.

ANZ offers a PDF only when your statement delivery preference is set to Online or Online & Paper — check Statements delivery preferences if no PDF appears.

What to check after converting

  • The result is marked Reconciled — the rows reproduce the closing balance exactly. If a difference is shown instead, our guide to why a statement does not balance walks through the usual causes.
  • For investment and KiwiSaver statements, convert the transaction and activity tables; valuation summaries are context, not transactions.
  • Check distribution rows with care: they can carry both an amount and a units figure, and only the amount belongs in the export.
