How to download a PDF statement from Bank of America

  1. Sign in to Online Banking at bankofamerica.com, or open the Bank of America mobile app.
  2. Open the account and choose Statements & Documents.
  3. Select the year, find the month you need, and click the PDF icon next to it to download the statement. Recent statements (up to 18 months) sit there directly; for older ones, use the Request statements tab in the same area — the requested statement is posted back to you electronically.

What to check after converting

  • The result is marked Reconciled — the rows reproduce the closing balance exactly. If a difference is shown instead, our guide to why a statement does not balance walks through the usual causes.
  • Compare the summary page totals with your export group by group — deposits, withdrawals, checks, fees. It is the fastest way to find a missing row.
  • If your statement prints a daily balance table, its last figure should equal the closing balance in your converted file.
